I am going to Lithuania this summer, just like every summer, except i'll document it better. This is where this blog comes in, which you should subscribe too, it won't bite. Here is a short overview of the trip:
Leaving: 30 June, 2011 John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK/KJFK)
Flight 1: Finnair JFK-HEL (KJFK-EFHK)
Airplane: Airbus Industrie A333 (A330-300)
Duration: ~8 hrs
Flight 2: Finnair HEL-VNO (EFHK-EYVI)
Transfer Time: 55mins (last time i had over an hour because the plane was early from jfk)
Airplane: Embraer E170
Duration: ~1hr, sometimes very quickly
Arrival: 1 July, 2011 ~11:00
That takes care of the flights to Lithuania. A nice 10 hours of travel. Of course I will have Takeoff and Landing videos for both on YouTube.
In Lithuania I will be staying mostly in Kaunas and near Lazdijai. In mid-august, I will be going to wonderful Nida, lovely place.
